Nollywood actor Yul Edochie has announced a reward of one million Naira for anyone who can provide information leading to the arrest of individuals threatening his fans, friends, family, and associates.
Edochie revealed that he discovered a group on WhatsApp responsible for bullying and harassment, including posting his home address and threatening his children and partner.
He has reported the situation to the police and urged anyone receiving threatening calls or texts to record and forward them to him to assist the police in tracking the culprits.
Edochie called on everyone to join him in combating this behavior and ensuring the perpetrators face justice.
In his statement, he wrote: “A group of jobless, foolish people have formed a WhatsApp group and social media pages to threaten my fans, friends, and business associates. Bullying is unacceptable to me or anyone else.
“I have reported this to the police. If anyone calls or texts you with threats, please record the call, copy the number and text, and send them to me so I can forward them to the police.
“They have gone as far as posting my house address and threatening to harm my children and kill Judy. They have crossed the line. You cannot dictate how another person should live their life. I will get you all.
“I’m offering one million Naira and more for information leading to their arrest. To all my fans and friends worldwide, please help me in apprehending these individuals. Thank you for your love and support. God bless you. Cyberbullying is totally unacceptable.”
