Union members closed the Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS) office in Lagos on Monday as part of the nationwide strike led by the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) and Trade Union Congress (TUC).
The strike, initiated in opposition to the Federal Government's proposed N60,000 minimum wage, saw images circulating online depicting union members brandishing sticks and forcing FIRS staff out of the Agidingbi office in Ikeja.
