June 12: "This Can Happen To Anyone" - Reactions As Tinubu Heavily Falls, Hits Head On Floor Of Parade Vehicle (Video)

President Bola Tinubu experienced a minor stumble while boarding the parade vehicle during the 25th Democracy Day celebration in Abuja.

A video of the incident went viral, capturing Tinubu briefly losing his balance but quickly regaining his composure and proceeding with the event.

The presidency explained that it was simply a misstep, and Tinubu continued with the program without any issues.

This incident took place at Eagles Square, where numerous activities were held to commemorate the country’s Democracy Day anniversary.

The clarification came from Dada Olusegun, the president’s special adviser on social media, via a tweet.

The statement reads: “Mr President missed his step while climbing into the truck at the June 12 Democracy Day celebration and tripped. It was a mild misstep. He immediately went on with the ceremonial rounds. No issues.”
