The Nollywood film industry mourns the loss of veteran actress Stella Ikwuegbu, who died on Sunday, June 16th, after a prolonged battle with leg cancer, as reported by RantHQ Blog.
Film producer Stanley Nwoko, also known as Stanley Ontop, confirmed her passing in an emotional Instagram post.
Nwoko shared his grief, writing, “Popular Nollywood actress and veteran, Mrs. Stella Ikwuegbu, has passed away. The veteran actress succumbed to leg cancer today. Rest in peace, Madam Stella. Nollywood, not again. It’s well. Shalom!”
Stella Ikwuegbu was a beloved figure in Nollywood, admired for her impactful performances and significant contributions to Nigerian cinema.
