Nigerian social media activist, Martins Vincent Otse, widely known as VeryDarkMan (VDM), has responded with no holds barred to Pastor Lazarus Muoka's remarks aimed at him. Muoka, the general overseer of The Lord's Chosen Charismatic Revival Ministries, recently issued a stern warning to the critic in a viral video. The tension between the two began after VeryDarkMan criticized certain testimonies shared by members of Muoka's church. Some of these controversial stories included claims of miraculous lion rescues and surviving violent robbery attempts, which went viral online. In response to these claims, VDM called for the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) to investigate the testimonies and even threatened legal action if necessary. In his rebuttal, Pastor Muoka declared that if God's anointed, referring to himself, becomes angry, dire consequences would follow. He added that he wasn’t cursing VeryDarkMan but merely making a statement. This came in the midst of other legal battles VeryDarkMan is involved in, including ongoing issues with Nigerian celebrities like Bobrisky, Falz, and prominent figures like human rights lawyer Femi Falana, as well as cases involving the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) and the Nigeria Correctional Service (NCoS).However, in his characteristic fashion, VeryDarkMan hit back at Pastor Muoka's warning, questioning the cleric's prophetic powers. He pointed out that many believed he was facing difficulties due to his legal battle with Bobrisky over a N15 million scandal and court appearances during his visit to the National Assembly. VDM questioned why the pastor had not used his supposed divine powers to prevent the loss of his two late wives.
