Controversial social media figure and activist, VeryDarkMan, has unveiled a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) aimed at community development and improving public schools.
The announcement was made on his Instagram page (@verydarkblackman) on Saturday, where he rallied for support from his followers and promised transparency and accountability in handling donations.
In the post, VeryDarkMan called out to notable personalities like Davido and Cubana Chief Priest for support, while also encouraging his followers to contribute.
He assured donors that all funds would be publicly accounted for and documented online.
Within 24 hours of the announcement, VeryDarkMan disclosed that over N33 million had been raised.
He shared a screenshot of the donations and expressed his gratitude, highlighting that most contributions were from individuals who donated N500 or less.
"Most of the money contributed was from people giving N500 or less. It means many don't have much, but they still wanted to support me. The love is massive," he said.
The activist, known for his outspoken nature on social issues, has recently been involved in a public controversy with popular crossdresser Bobrisky, over allegations of bribery and corruption.
