Nollywood actress Uche Ogbodo has shed light on her decision to block May Edochie, the estranged wife of Yul Edochie, on social media.
Ogbodo’s clarification comes in response to backlash from May’s supporters, who mocked her after a robbery at her boutique.
The actress took to Instagram to address the criticism, accusing May’s fans of harassment and labeling them "toxic."
According to Ogbodo, the fans linked the robbery incident to "karma" for her support of Judy Austin, Yul Edochie’s second wife. She expressed frustration with May for allegedly tolerating such behavior from her supporters.
In a heated post, Ogbodo stated:
"Toxic May Edochie fans! You people don’t own social media... Misfortune is life, and it’s rotational; it will surely swing. Wait for your own turn."
Ogbodo further revealed that she blocked May to avoid the hostility she faced for interacting with her posts. She criticized May for not curbing the behavior of her fans, adding:
"I blocked May because you wouldn’t let me like her pictures in peace. And she seems to enjoy the toxicity! So that pisses me off!"
The incident has sparked widespread discussion about cyberbullying and fan behavior on social media.
