Martins Vincent Otse, popularly known as VeryDarkMan, is set to appear before the House of Representatives on Monday in connection with bribery allegations involving the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC). The influencer recently released an explosive audio clip implicating crossdresser Idris Okuneye, better known as Bobrisky, in a bribery scandal. In the audio, Bobrisky allegedly claimed to have paid a hefty sum of N15 million to EFCC officials to have money laundering charges against him dropped. Furthermore, Bobrisky boasted about avoiding his six-month jail term in Kirikiri prison, stating that his powerful connections, specifically a "godfather," arranged for him to stay in a private lodge instead of serving time behind bars. These allegations have sparked outrage, leading the House of Representatives to launch a probe. As part of their investigation, the House has summoned VeryDarkMan, Bobrisky, and the EFCC Chairman, Ola Olukoyede, to provide more information.Deji Adeyanju, the legal representative for VeryDarkMan, confirmed that his client would attend the hearing to support the investigation. In a conversation with DAILY POST on Sunday, Adeyanju expressed their commitment to assisting the inquiry. "We will be at the National Assembly tomorrow with our client, @thatverydarkman, to assist in investigations into allegations by Bobrisky that he/she paid N15m to have money laundering charges dropped by EFCC and also bribed prison officials to stay in an apartment," he said.
