Controversial Nigerian singer, Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has stirred the music scene once again by claiming he is bigger than two of Nigeria’s most famous artists, Wizkid and Davido.
The “Zazu” crooner made the bold statement on his Instagram story, accusing the two superstars of using their ongoing beef to stay relevant in the industry.
In his post, Portable alleged that Wizkid and Davido’s music is no longer marketable, suggesting they have resorted to stirring controversies to maintain their relevance.
"Una songs no dey market again, na fight una dey use do promotion," he wrote.
Portable distanced himself from their feud, asserting his independence from the drama.
“Me, I no dey for Davido. Me, I no dey for Wizkid. I dey for myself. That’s why I dey for those who dey for me,” he said, while emphasizing that he has hit songs without needing to engage in public disputes.
The tension between Wizkid and Davido escalated earlier in the week when Wizkid allegedly took shots at Davido on social media, calling him “wack” and “talentless.”
Despite Davido’s silence, Wizkid reportedly continued with the insults, targeting the DMW boss and even his family.
Portable’s comments come at a time when fans and industry insiders are watching closely as the feud between Wizkid and Davido unfolds.
