Nnam Robinson Ewoh, a chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Rivers State, has accused Nyesom Wike, the current Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) and former governor of Rivers State, of being a "destroyer" and claimed that Wike has never won an election based on popular votes. Ewoh alleged that Wike has historically relied on manipulation and violence to secure electoral victories.
In a recent interview, Ewoh expressed confidence in the current Rivers State governor, Siminalayi Fubara, stating that Fubara will secure a second term in the 2027 elections without needing Wike’s influence. He criticized Wike for his role in diminishing the PDP's standing in the state and warned President Bola Tinubu to be wary of Wike’s potential future actions.
Ewoh emphasized that Wike’s influence in the state has been more harmful than beneficial and that Rivers voters, not Wike, would decide the outcome of future elections.
