In a bid to foster unity within the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), key members of the party’s National Reconciliation Committee visited the Oyo State Governor's Office in Ibadan today. The high profile delegation was led by the committee’s Chairman and former Governor of Osun State, Prince Olagunsoye Oyinlola, alongside other notable figures from the PDP.
Among those present were the Secretary of the committee and former Governor of Gombe State, Senator Dr. Ibrahim Dankwambo, OON, Deputy Governor of Oyo State, Barrister Bayo Lawal,Mrs. Mutiat Ladoja, wife of the former Oyo State Governor and Mr. Eddy Olafeso, a prominent figure in the party.
The visit, which took place at the Governor’s Office in the Secretariat, Ibadan, was part of the committee’s ongoing efforts to mend fences and strengthen party unity ahead of key political engagements. The committee’s mandate is to resolve internal disputes and ensure that the PDP presents a united front in upcoming elections.
