Renowned clergyman Pastor Tobi Adegboyega has responded to reports suggesting his imminent deportation from the United Kingdom, describing them as unfounded.
The UK-based pastor, known for his charismatic leadership, addressed the public through social media, assuring his followers that there is no reason for concern. “I’m right here at home, no cause for alarm. Every Nigerian should be proud of me,” he stated.
Earlier reports had alleged that the UK government was investigating the pastor over claims of misappropriating £1.87 million in church funds. Despite the gravity of the allegations, Pastor Tobi dismissed the claims, asserting his love for London and his determination to remain there.
“London is my city, and I’m not leaving it. This is a city known for breaking people down, but I’ve faced greater challenges and come out stronger,” he added.
His lawyer also took to social media to debunk the deportation claims, emphasizing that no such action is in progress.
The controversy has sparked widespread reactions, but Pastor Tobi insists he remains focused on his mission, encouraging Nigerians to take pride in his journey.
