Popular Nollywood actor, Zuby Michael, has shared a piece of life advice for young women, urging them to take responsibility for their past actions and make positive changes.
During a recent interview, Michael emphasized that no one can erase the consequences of a troubled past, no matter how deep the love may be.
“Many girls have this attitude of saying if you love me, forget about my past,” Michael said. “A past that you lived, and people spoke to you and you never heard? What you did in the past has a way of affecting your future.”
He cautioned against relying on love to erase mistakes, stressing that no amount of affection can undo the consequences of past choices.
“You can’t live your young age doing terrible things and when you get tired, you start saying if someone loves you, they’ll forget about your past. No,” he continued. “Try as much as possible not to have a past that you’ll want people to forget.”
His words served as a reminder that growth, self-improvement, and accountability are crucial for anyone who wants to build a brighter future.
