A Nigerian woman living in the UK has shared how a white woman tried to use her to get away with theft, but she was lucky that the security man was not racist, so the woman's plan failed.
The conversation stemmed from the issue of stereotyping black people as thieves.
One black woman shared her experience, writing: "Random white woman strategically walks out the Sainsbury's with me, so the things she stole would set the alarm, and they'd stop me lol."
A Nigerian woman living abroad then weighed in, writing: "Omg this happened to me in Zara but the security guard was a black Nigerian guy ( from his accent) and he went straight to the white girl and collected the stolen items. About 8 clothes or more."
