The Nigerian government is preparing to arraign 76 protesters involved in the #EndBadGovernanceInNigeria demonstrations, 80 days after the protests occurred. Out of the 76 individuals, 66 are reportedly minors. Deji Adeyanju, an activist lawyer, revealed that these protesters will be arraigned on November 1, 2024, before Justice Egwuatu at the Federal High Court in Abuja.
Adeyanju criticized the government, accusing it of detaining these protesters for nearly 80 days. The protests, which took place from August 1 to 10, 2024, were aimed at addressing issues of poor governance in Nigeria.
