The Nigerian military recently intensified operations against Boko Haram, ISWAP, and other terrorist groups. Over the past week, they neutralized 88 suspected terrorists and arrested 228 individuals involved in terrorism, oil theft, and kidnapping. Troops rescued 181 kidnapped hostages and thwarted oil theft worth over N1 billion. As part of election security, the military deployed forces to ensure Ondo's upcoming governorship election proceeds peacefully, and Nigerian Air Force has supported INEC by transporting essential electoral materials.
