Bobrisky, the well-known Nigerian crossdresser, was recently detained at the Seme border while attempting to leave Nigeria. His arrest took place around 1:30 am on October 22, 2024. Witnesses reported that Bobrisky's vehicle, a black Mercedes Benz SUV, initially bypassed Port Health officials but was later flagged by immigration officers when his passport was handed in for stamping. Upon recognizing him, immigration officials invited Bobrisky for further questioning.
He was detained and later transferred to the Lagos State Command of the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) for further investigation. The Public Relations Officer of NIS, Kenneth Udo, confirmed the arrest, stating that Bobrisky is a "person of interest" due to ongoing public concerns, although specific details were not immediately disclosed.
