Nollywood actress and influencer May Edochie has taken legal action against comedian Chidi Uzoma, known as Baba De Baba, over false allegations he shared on Facebook.
Edochie's lawyer revealed that Baba De Baba posted claims about the actress having a preference for women over men in private.
The post also suggested that Edochie recently traveled to Ghana with female friends to find men for relationships.
Furthermore, Baba De Baba accused Edochie of being HIV positive and allegedly warned men in Ghana to be cautious around her.
Edochie is demanding that all negative posts about her be removed and is requesting a public apology by December 15, 2024.
In his response, Baba De Baba expressed his willingness to apologize but stated he would not remove all of the content.
He argued that Edochie’s supporters, known as “May Nation,” have also targeted Judy Austin and Yul Edochie.
The comedian added that the management of his Facebook page is handled by someone else, which complicates the process of deleting the posts.
The situation has attracted significant public attention as the legal battle unfolds.
