In Plateau State, a group of men apprehended an unidentified man who had allegedly attempted to set off a bomb inside a bank.
In Dadin Kowa town, in the Jos South region of the state, the incident is said to have occurred on Monday, May 13.
When the vigilante security at the bank saw the suspect, they stopped the attack, according to a post made on Tuesday by security analyst Zagazola Makama on X.
The suspect was attacked by a mob that was upset about the circumstances and apparently wanted him put to death.
Uncertainty surrounds the suspect's possible affiliation with any domestic terrorist groups.
To conduct additional research, he has been brought to the police station.
