Actor Adams Kehinde, also known as Lege Miami in Nollywood, has criticized Pastor Adeboye, the founder of Redeemed Christian Church.
In an internet video, the Yoruba performer stated that he was asked for school fees by a church member.
Lege said he'd asked the member which church he goes to, and he replied, Redeemed.
After this, the actor is pleading with the minister to grant his church members more freedom at his private university.
He declared that the school's upkeep should be covered by the donations made to his church.
He chastised him for not paying his church employees, pointing out how many people, like him, are begging and haven't eaten.
While sharing the video, he said;
“Pastor Adeboye, good evening, Sir. Lege Miami is my name on social media. I advocate for the youths, and someone contacted me saying he wants to pay his school fees. I asked him which church he was going and he said Redeemed. I know you own a school, and it’s due to the money your church members are contributing.
“Please don’t be offended. Can’t your church members be going to school for free? And the money being contributed to your church should be used to maintain the school. Daddy, please, some of us that your members are begging haven’t eaten. Those who are working in your church and are collecting money from you should be banned if they can’t work freely for God.
“Don’t be offended, sir. Members of Redeemed Christian Church, please don’t be offended too”.
