The Owa-Onire community in the Ile-Ire district of Ifelodun Local Government Area, Kwara State, has expressed heartfelt appreciation to Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq for his administration’s ongoing development projects, particularly the construction of the Owu Waterfall Road. This project, aimed at boosting access to one of the state's major tourist attractions, has been welcomed as a significant step toward improving the socioeconomic well-being of the people in the region.
In a statement released by the Owa-Onire Central Planning Committee and signed by its Chairman, Mallam Saka Ogunbiyi, the community acknowledged the positive impact of Governor Abdulrazaq's administration across Kwara State. The statement praised the governor’s vision and commitment to elevating the state through key infrastructure projects, which are seen as catalysts for economic growth and progress.
We believe these monumental projects across the state will further inspire Your Excellency’s strong desire to steer the state toward the enviable heights we have long aspired to reach, the statement read. In addition to thanking the governor for the road project, the community also congratulated him on the successful conduct of the recent Local Government Elections. They viewed the outcome of the polls as a clear testament to the people’s appreciation for Governor Abdulrazaq’s leadership and his efforts to deliver quality governance at both the state and local levels.
Similarly, the Onire of Owa-Onire, Oba Ramonu Lawal Ifabiyi III, along with the entire Owa-Onire community, extended their congratulations to Governor Abdulrazaq for receiving the prestigious traditional title of Sadauna Ngeri of Ilorin. This title was conferred by the Emir of Ilorin, Alhaji (Dr.) Ibrahim Zuluqanaini Gambari (OON), in recognition of the governor's integrity, dedication, and commitment to the development of the Ilorin community and Kwara State as a whole.
The community emphasized that the honor reflects Governor Abdulrazaq’s selfless leadership and his ability to foster unity across the state.
