The Nigerian Presidency has raised concerns over the escalating conflict between Israel and Iran, especially after Iran launched a large number of missiles at Israel in retaliation for the assassination of Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah. This growing conflict has prompted the Nigerian government to take action, with plans to evacuate its citizens from Lebanon, where tensions are also rising.
Nigerians living in Lebanon have been advised to contact the Nigerian mission for documentation and eventual evacuation. This directive was issued by Dada Olusegun, the special adviser on social media to President Bola Tinubu.
