Senate President Godswill Akpabio has expressed optimism about Nigeria's future, encouraging Nigerians to remain patient and hopeful as the country approaches a brighter era. Speaking at an inter-denominational service in Abuja to commemorate Nigeria’s 64th Independence Anniversary, Akpabio acknowledged the challenges the nation faces but emphasized the strength and resilience of the Nigerian people.
He highlighted the leadership of President Bola Tinubu, praising his efforts to steer the country toward prosperity. Akpabio also referenced key laws passed by the 10th National Assembly aimed at fostering economic growth and empowering citizens, underscoring the importance of unity in overcoming obstacles and achieving national success.
Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Senator George Akume, echoed these sentiments, expressing confidence in Nigeria’s potential to become a global leader under Tinubu’s administration. Archbishop Michael Akinwale also offered a hopeful message, prophesying that Nigeria would regain its place among the world's leading nations.
