Renowned Nollywood actor Nonso Diobi has shared insights into his early struggles and the challenges he faced growing up.
In a recent interview, the actor revealed that he used to sell buns as a primary school student to support himself and lessen the financial strain on his family.
“During my primary school days, I sold buns because I came from an average family, and my parents were doing their best to care for everyone. I wanted to take some of the pressure off them, so I worked hard to provide for myself,” he recounted.
Despite his early hustles, Nonso explained that his passion for creativity and performing arts eventually took precedence over business.
This realization led him to pursue acting, a career that has earned him widespread recognition in Nollywood.
He also revealed a lesser-known fact about his time in the church choir, where he sang alongside popular musician Flavour and his sisters.
“I was part of my church choir, and Flavour and his sisters were also members back then. It’s something many people don’t know to this day,” he noted.
Nonso Diobi’s story is a powerful reminder of how determination and self-reliance can lead to remarkable achievements, inspiring others to overcome their own challenges.
