Controversial Nigerian cleric, Pastor Tobi Adegboyega, has denied allegations of deportation from the United Kingdom, asserting his right to reside in any country of his choice.
In a live interview with media personality Daddy Freeze, the founder of SPAC Nation Church addressed rumors surrounding his alleged deportation, reportedly tied to a tribunal and accusations of financial misconduct.
He claimed to have faced an unusual legal situation, including an immigration panel of five all-white judges, and promised to release transcripts of the proceedings to clear his name.
Reacting to the speculations, Pastor Tobi dismissed the claims as attempts to tarnish his reputation.
“What’s my own with you? I’m a citizen of a country I want to be in because money makes you have a choice, and poverty makes you beg,” he remarked, emphasizing his financial independence.
On his willingness to return to Nigeria, Pastor Tobi stated, “Why would I be afraid to come to Nigeria? The current government is doing well; anyone who says otherwise can jump off the bridge.”
He added that he could sustain himself for years with minimal resources, showcasing his confidence in maintaining his lifestyle.
The cleric also revealed plans to arrive in Nigeria with a group of "fine young men and women," ensuring a high standard of living upon his return.
While condemning efforts to discredit him, Pastor Tobi reaffirmed his commitment to his mission and his ties to Nigeria.
