Edo State Governor Senator Monday Okpebholo has announced the immediate dissolution of executives of all state boards, agencies, and parastatals. Additionally, all Permanent Secretaries appointed from outside the State Public/Civil Service, along with political appointees, have been relieved of their duties. This directive was confirmed by the Chief Press Secretary, Fred Itua, who stated that the affected appointees are required to return all government property to the most senior public officer in their respective departments and agencies. The announcement signifies a restructuring effort within the Edo State administration.
