While the meeting ended without a formal public statement, it was clear that the government and labour leaders are navigating complex negotiations to ease the economic hardships.
This meeting comes on the heels of widespread discontent among Nigerians, with calls for mass protests and demands for solutions to the ongoing economic challenges. As Nigerians await the outcome of these high level discussions, the tension between the government and labour unions continues to grow.
