Nigerians are set to enjoy some relief as Dangote Petroleum Refinery announces a further reduction in the price of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) to N899.50 per litre.
This follows a previous price adjustment to N970 per litre on November 24.
Anthony Chiejina, Group Chief Branding and Communications Officer of Dangote Group, revealed that the price slash is designed to ease transportation costs as the holiday season approaches.
With travel expenses traditionally rising during this period, the refinery’s move aims to reduce the financial burden on commuters and families.
As Africa’s first privately-owned oil refinery, Dangote Refinery remains committed to providing affordable fuel options.
This latest price reduction reflects its dedication to supporting Nigerians through economic challenges, especially during a period characterized by increased mobility and expenses.
The company hopes this adjustment will enhance accessibility and ease economic pressures, ensuring a more affordable holiday season for many Nigerians.
