Popular Nigerian artist Blackface has opened up about plans to revive the iconic music group Plantashun Boiz, which he formed with Tuface and Faze.
In a recent episode of the ‘Curiosity Made Me Ask’ podcast, Blackface disclosed that attempts to reunite the group fell through because he was not invited to be part of the effort.
According to Blackface, his bandmates tried to bring back the group without his involvement, but their efforts were unsuccessful.
"Without me, they have tried and they have failed. Many times," Blackface said. He went on to mention that the group’s reunion attempts were visible during some of the shows Tuface and Faze attended. Despite their efforts, he emphasized that the reunion could not succeed without him, asserting, "I’m the plantation."
Blackface also took the opportunity to refute any rumors, dismissing the idea of a fake memo circulated earlier, and reaffirming his importance to the group’s legacy.
"Forget the fake memo that they spread before," he said, setting the record straight about his integral role in Plantashun Boiz.
