Paul Okoye, one half of the iconic Nigerian musical duo P-Square, has revealed his heartfelt desire to reunite with his twin brother, Peter Okoye, after their split in 2017.
While the group’s legacy of hit songs and electrifying performances remains in the minds of fans worldwide, Paul shared his emotional struggle over their separation and a longing to reconnect.
In an exclusive statement, Paul opened up about the impact of the split on his life, saying, “It saddens my heart every time I go on YouTube and see how great we were together as P-Square but are no longer together.”
He recalled the unforgettable memories they created together, including sold-out shows, autograph sessions, and the deep love from fans that only seemed to grow with time.
Despite the fame and fortune P-Square achieved, Paul admitted it doesn’t compare to the support he felt as part of the group. “I must admit I don’t get the same love being alone that I received as P-Square,” he confessed.
Reflecting on his biggest wish, Paul shared, “Aside from the money and fame, my biggest wish now is to see us come together again.”
His words reflect the powerful bond the Okoye twins once shared, as well as the hope of rekindling their musical journey together.
P-Square, celebrated for hits like "Do Me," "No One Like You," and "Personally," was once one of Africa's top musical acts, inspiring countless fans across the globe.
As fans continue to celebrate their legacy, Paul’s message reignites hopes that the brothers might one day return to the stage as the legendary duo that once ruled the charts.
