Veteran Nollywood actress Patience Ozokwo, popularly known as "Mama G," has been awarded an Honorary Doctorate Degree in Theatre and Media Arts.
The degree was conferred by Achievers Networks Academy, UK, during a grand ceremony held at the Aderinokun Lecture Theatre, University of Lagos, Akoka.
The event, which took place on Saturday, also celebrated Yoruba film icons Adebayo Salami and Jide Kosoko for their remarkable contributions to the Nigerian entertainment industry.
