In a world where appreciation and gratitude are often exchanged, it's essential to pause and reflect on who truly deserves the credit. As I think about the recent accomplishments, I realize that while we can express thanks, it is important to understand the context behind that gratitude.
Honestly, I don’t believe that thanking me is necessary. After all, we haven’t done anything out of the ordinary. I’ve simply carried out my responsibilities, and in return, I've been compensated as part of a government arrangement. It’s what we do, part of our professional lives, and there is no need for extra recognition for fulfilling a duty that comes with being employed.
However, what matters more is the acknowledgment of the people who make such systems possible. A genuine thank you goes to those who provide us with the opportunity to perform our roles. In this regard, my gratitude must be directed beyond mere self-reflection, and to those who have shaped our environment for better opportunities.
First and foremost, I thank God for everything. Without His guidance, the ability to work and contribute meaningfully wouldn’t be possible. After all, every step we take comes with divine grace, and nothing is truly done without His will.
But after God, there is another person deserving of thanks President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. His leadership and vision have laid the foundation for policies and structures that enable the smooth functioning of systems in this country. His role in facilitating progress and ensuring that governmental machinery functions effectively cannot be overstated. While many contribute to the workings of a nation, it is the leadership that ultimately sets the tone for success.
So, while I appreciate your thanks, it’s important to remember that leadership and vision are at the heart of every achievement. Thank you, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, for your leadership. Your contributions are indeed significant in paving the way for the opportunities we now enjoy.
